# Paying

You pay at the kiosk. The total is shown before you choose a method, and
which methods appear depends on what is set up for the event.

## Cash

The kiosk takes notes itself, in a slot on the machine. Nobody asks you for
money and there is no step where you hand cash to anyone.

Feed a note in whenever you like — before you have picked anything, or while
you are choosing. It becomes credit on the machine, shown on screen, and your
prints come off that credit. If the credit does not cover what you have
picked, the cash button tells you how much more to put in, and will not let
you continue until it does.

Change is not given. Anything left over stays on the machine as credit: use
it on more prints, or leave it for the next person. If you want money back,
ask a staff member.

## Venmo or Zelle

The kiosk shows a code to scan (Venmo) or a contact to send to (Zelle), for
the exact total. Pay from your own phone. A staff member then checks their
own app for your payment and confirms it, and your order prints. There is no
"I've paid" button for you to tap — the confirmation is a person checking.

## Card

The kiosk shows a code to scan. It opens a secure Stripe checkout page in
your own browser. This one confirms itself: once the payment goes through,
your order prints on its own, with no staff step.

## Ordering after the event

Orders placed later at **sansbooth.com** are paid by
card through Stripe.
