# Your photos and your privacy

## Nothing is tied to your name

No name is attached to any photo. Nothing is captured about who you are, and
there is no sign-up, no login and no guest account anywhere in this.

The tag has no name on it either. You keep it, and the code written
on it is how you find your photos online. See [Your tag](your-tag.md).

## Where photos end up

- The kiosk at the print station, where guests browse and pick prints.
- The screen near the queue line, which drifts through the night's photos.
- The public gallery at **sansbooth.com**, which anyone
can browse by date or by the code on a tag.

That gallery is public, which is what makes it possible to find yourself
without a name or a login. It is also why nothing identifying is attached to
a photo.

## What an order collects, and where it goes

Buying prints to be mailed, at the kiosk or on **sansbooth.com**, asks for
your name, your email and your mailing address. That is all we take, and
only then: browsing, picking photos and paying cash at the kiosk ask for
nothing.

- Your card is handled by Stripe on its own page. We never see the number.
- Your address goes to Shippo, the carrier's broker, to quote postage and to
buy the label; the carrier gets it on the label.
- Your email gets two notes from us: one when the order is placed, with the
link to your files, and one when the prints are on the way, with the
tracking number. Nothing else is sent to it and it is not shared.
- Prints bought at the kiosk collect nothing: the download code on the
screen is the only record you leave with.

Order records are kept for **at least three years** from the order. They
are not sold and not shared beyond the three services above.

The site sets no cookies of its own; Stripe's payment page sets Stripe's.
The order page keeps the name, email and address you last typed in your
own browser, so a second order fills them in. That stays in your browser
and is never sent anywhere by itself; clearing the site's data forgets it.

## How long photos are kept

Your photos stay on **sansbooth.com** for **at least 90 days** after
the event, and can be ordered for that whole time. A purchase includes the
full-resolution files — see
[Prints and sizes](prints-and-sizes.md).
